Scope of Work: Unlashing and cutting sea fastening structures for 02 quay cranes (STS cranes); structural touch-up painting; supplying equipment, certified manpower, and materials for concrete counterweight pouring inside crane portal legs; lifting and loading heavy Loading Beams back onto the transport vessel; and providing technical engineering support for final commissioning.
Project Assessment & Engineering Highlights
Evaluation by Tan Cang Tech Technical Team: Gemalink is one of the world’s top deep-sea mega-ports, designed to receive the world’s largest container vessels. The STS cranes delivered by Doosan Vina are giant Super Post-Panamax units. The execution required extreme structural caution, strict hot-work fire safety during torch cutting of sea fastenings, and precision concrete counterweight placement.
